FlyTabs Virtuemart Theme Key Features

Custom Category Page

• Custom Browse Page for Products within a Category. The default theme from Virtuemart is limited in its styling for displaying products within their category. The FlyTabs theme has a sleek, colorful display that includes a much more visible thumbnail.
• Choose the Thumbnail Image Link on the Category Page. Choose the browse_1 template to have the product thumbnail on a category view page link to a popup of the image. Choose the browse_2 template to have the product image link to the product details page.

Picture Handling

• The amazing JQuery Zoom for main pictures. In FlyTabs, you put in a large picture for the product. This is a large image that really showcases your product well. To make the page even more exciting, you can specify a ‘Zoom’ image. When the shopper puts the cursor over the main image, the cursor turns into a ‘magnifying glass’ which magnifies that section of the image and shows it off to the left of the main image. The effect can be seen on our demo products and is just amazing. Rather than having a shopper ‘popup’ a larger version of the main image, this lets the shopper move around the main picture and zero-in on exactly the points of interest for that shopper. No other Theme for Virtuemart has this amazing image handling capability. See an example below of the main image on the right, with the 'zoom' on the left showing the magnified area.
  

• Up to Four Additional Thumbnails. Specify up to four additional thumbnail photos of the product which load horizontally on the right of the main image. You can just have thumbnails, or you can load a ‘full’ image as well so that when the shopper ‘mouses over’ the thumbnail the image swaps into the main image area giving the shopper a full view of the picture! This is a great effect which really gives the shopper control of the page. See example below with the mouse over showing one of the thumbs in the main image area.

• Easy Image Upload. All images are uploaded via Virtuemart’s native image handling functions. No FTP or other special processes required, so non-technical people can easily learn to manage images using this Theme!

Integrated Video Player

• Integrated Video Player. FlyTabs comes with an integrated video player. Simply upload a video as an additional file attached to any product, and the Video button will automatically appear on the product below the thumbs. The shopper clicks the video button, and the included video player pops up and plays the product demonstration video.
• Easy Video Upload. Smaller videos can be upload using Virtuemart’s image uploading functionality. Larger videos can be uploaded using FTP.
• No Hunting for Video Plugins. Or worrying about embedding code in a page. Everything is completely integrated. Just upload your video for the product and enjoy the increased sales that a demonstration video brings.
• Lightbox Overlay. Video plays in an attractive lightbox overlay. Save valuable screen real estate. See example below with the video button visible and the video playing in a lightbox overlay.

Product Detail Info in Tabs

• Product Info in Tabs. All standard product information automatically loads in a set of tabs. The native display of Virtuemart can be daunting with its long scroll on pages. We’ve broken up the main information into a sleek series of tabs which allows pages to be shorter and the information more organized.

Please Note: FlyTabs does not introduce any new fields into the Virtuemart product information. It displays the existing Virtuemart fields in tabs. It is possible to add fields to Virtuemart, and to add those fields to FlyTabs, but that requires some technical skill.

• Tabs Customization. Customize the tabs as necessary for your shop. Change tab names, add tabs, delete tabs, move tabs around! This is all done using CSS and Javascript, so you have complete control over how your product details look.
• Make Your Shop Unique. Your Virtuemart store will shine! With information organized into slick tabs, the shopper is invited to get more information!

Custom Add to Shopping Cart Area

Features Not Used Do Not Appear

• Unused Features Do Not Appear. If a products doesn't have a video, then the play video box doesn't exist. If the product has only three thumbnails, then the fourth space doesn't show.
